Overview

  • Immediate family and a handful of additional guests will be staying at La Selva Giardino del Belvedere

  • All other guests must book their own accommodations

  • It is highly recommended you book accommodations using the “Tuscany Villas” site linked throughout this page

  • Shuttle service will only be available for bookings made through the partner site linked here

  • If you book separately, please ensure you rent a car and be prepared to drive for all events including the wedding

Dates

Guests are welcome to extend their trip by arriving early or staying past the 25th. Full itinerary here.

Wednesday, May 21: Recommended check-in date

  • Shuttle departs Florence at 4pm and will drop guests off at various properties around 5pm

Sunday, May 25: Recommended check-out date

  • Shuttle picks up from various properties 9-9:30am

  • Shuttle will drop guests off in Florence (city center and/or airport) by 10:45am

  • Exact shuttle timing and drop-off locations can be adjusted based on guests’ needs

Location

The wedding ceremony and most additional programming will take place at La Selva Giardino del Belvedere, a 45-acre private family estate on the slopes of the Chianti Hills in Montevarchi, Italy.

Montevarchi is a very small town in rural Tuscany with a total of 3 taxis that operate during limited hours. If you book accommodations outside of the walkable Montevarchi “city center”, you should consider getting a rental car upon your arrival in Florence.

Booking

All accommodations here have been personally vetted by our wedding coordinator and are guaranteed service by our private shuttle for arrival, departure, wine tasting, and wedding day.

Amenities, proximity to Montevarchi city center, and other details vary by listing so be sure to review before booking.

  2. Create an account using the signup form

  3. Select an accommodation and click “Book Now”

  4. Review all booking details, then click “Confirm this booking”

  5. On the invoice page, click “Pay Now”

  6. Enter and submit your payment info.

  7. You should receive two confirmation emails from wg@tuscany-villas.net

Tips:

  • Website may not work well on mobile. Use a laptop if possible.

  • You will need one account per booking

  • Separate rooms within a hotel may require separate bookings

  • If payment is declined, you may need to contact your credit card company and approve payment for "Tuscany Villas LTD”.

  • Bookings are not finalized until payment is submitted.
